Electronic Micro Systems Inc. (EMS) was founded in North Carolina in 1987. Since that time, has become a leader in the field of elevator communications.
EMS was relocated to New York in 1998 and in 2000 acquired Vandal-Proof Products Inc. This allowed both companies, each involved in the telephonics industry, to benefit from the skills and experience of the other. In April of 2005, EMS was merged with Janus Elevator Products, a sister company at the same location, in an effort to take advantage of increased distribution and customer service capabilities.
EMS has become known for its outstanding technical support, innovative technology, and high quality products. EMS is owned by Halma PLC, a publicly traded corporation listed on the London Stock Market under the term HLMA.
